Artificial Putting Greens

Backyard and golf-course putting greens that roll true

Free EstimateTampa Area · 7 Days a Week

A putting green is the most demanding turf job there is, because the ball shows every flaw in the base. We shape the ground first — the breaks and contours are built into the base, not the turf — then compact it until it's firm and smooth, set the cups, and lay short-pile putting turf with a longer fringe around it. The surface is finished with infill and rolled so the ball runs at a consistent speed. We install greens for backyards and for golf-course and practice areas, from a single-hole corner to a multi-cup green.

Our Process

1

Plan the Green

We pick the spot, the size, the number of cups and the breaks you want to practice.

2

Shape the Base

The ground is excavated, contoured and compacted until it's firm and smooth.

3

Turf & Cups

Cups are set, putting turf and fringe are laid, and the seams are hidden.

4

Infill & Roll

Infill is worked in and the surface is rolled so putts run true.
